What skill level do I need?
Each journey lists its levels right on the trip page — most welcome 3.0–4.0, and several start at 2.5. Coaching groups are organized by level once we’re on court, so you’ll always be drilling and playing with people at your pace.
I don’t know my DUPR. Can I still come?
Absolutely. Tell us how you play — how long you’ve played, who you play with, how you do — and Nico or Gino will place you personally. There’s a "not sure" option right in the reserve form.
What does the coaching actually look like?
Morning court sessions with structured drills, strategy work, and live play, run personally by Nico and Gino. Every traveler gets a 1:1 video analysis session — and the breakdown is yours to keep after the trip.
Who comes on these trips
I’m traveling solo. Will that be weird?
Solo travelers are at the heart of how we build Nomad groups. Between morning sessions, group dinners, and tournament day, you’ll have a full crew by night two — and, we’d bet, new doubles partners and next year’s travel companions.
My partner doesn’t play. Can they come?
Yes — non-playing partners are welcome on every journey. They skip the court blocks (pricing reflects that) and join everything else: excursions, dinners, pools, and the sidelines for tournament day. Mention them in your reservation and we’ll set it up.
How big are the groups?
Every journey is capped — most between 12 and 20 travelers. Group size is listed on each trip page, and when a trip is full, it’s full.
Reserving & paying
What does "in design" mean?
It means we’re actively locking that journey’s resort, courts, and final dates. Joining a trip’s interest list costs nothing and commits you to nothing — it gets you a first-access booking window and first-access pricing before the trip opens publicly.
How does reserving work?
Three steps. Request your spot on any trip page — no payment online. We confirm your hold within 24 hours and send a secure deposit link; the deposit amount is listed on every trip. Your spot is then held for 72 hours while you make it official. Prefer to talk it through first? Book 15 minutes with Nico.
When is the rest due?
The balance is due 60 days before departure. We’ll send a schedule with your confirmation, and we’re happy to split the balance into monthly payments on request — just ask.
What’s included in the price?
Each trip page lists exactly what’s included — accommodation, daily coaching, video analysis, airport transfers, excursions, and most meals are standard. Flights are not included, so you can use points and route from your home airport.
Cancellation & peace of mind
What if I change my mind right after reserving?
Your deposit is fully refundable for 72 hours after you pay it — no questions asked. That window exists so you can grab a spot first and align calendars after.
What’s the cancellation policy?
After the 72-hour grace period: cancel 90+ days before departure and everything you’ve paid beyond the deposit is refunded, with the deposit transferable to any other journey within a year. Cancel 60–89 days out and 50% of the trip price is refunded. Inside 60 days, payments are non-refundable — at that point rooms, courts, and coaches are committed. If we ever cancel a trip, you receive a full refund of everything, immediately.
Should I get travel insurance?
Yes — we recommend it for every journey, and some destinations make it essential. A standard trip-cancellation policy (via your credit card or providers like Travelex or InsureMyTrip) covers the scenarios our policy can’t.
What happens between booking and departure?
You’re not on your own. Every group gets a WhatsApp thread with Nico, Gino, and your fellow travelers in the weeks before departure — packing guidance, court talk, and introductions — so you arrive already knowing your crew.
